Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

UNESCO, the National Science Museum of Thailand and the Japan Water Forum join forces to establish the Asia-Pacific Water Museum
At the occasion of the 1st Asia-Pacific Water Summit, held in Beppu, Japan, 3-4 December 2007, the National Science Museum of Thailand, the Japan Water Forum and UNESCO announced the beginning of their collaboration towards the establishment of the Asia-Pacific Water Museum, to be set up in Pathum Thani, Thailand. The Asia-Pacific Water Museum will dedicate itself to promoting understanding and awareness of the importance of water to all life forms and for the future of our planet.

Just Published MUSEUM International N°236 - Gender Perspectives on Cultural heritage and Museums
Contrary to established beliefs, the decision to devote an issue of MUSEUM International to women and gender issues was a difficult one to take. A preferred discipline in Social Sciences, gender studies, through their transfer into the heritage field, should not entail a simplistic reification nor oscillate between some studies on women as heritage actors and others on women as heritage contributors.

The academic body of Restoration and Museum Science, to mark the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the institute of Anthropology of University of Veracruz and in recognition to its trajectory, has organized the exhibition entitled Cultural Reasearch in the field of movable and immovable properties, which approach restoration, conservation and dissemination of a part of the great archaeological, historical and artistic heritage of the state of Veracruz.
