- Royal College and Temple of Literature is a clear evidence of education following Confucian theory of Thang Long from 11th century to end of 18th century.

- From 1945, especially after 1954, Hanoi is one of the educational centres specializing in universitarian education of the republic of Vietnam.
Without ellite education universitarian education, Thang Long Hanoi would have been much different than it is today. Universitarian education plays a role as moving power for promoting 1000-year Thang Long's.culture.
