ABSTRACT

The report expresses these main ideals :

1.The role of Hanoi-historical city .
Hanoi ­ historical city has been being political culture centre of country during the past and the process of innovation .
The susbtance of urban is represented by the various value of cultural and non-material cultural objects, which is still stored in architecture space of Hanoi city till now. It creat an architectural combination in harmony of old quater and quater for city image. Those structure's emphasis of connection, inheritance and exploitation also match with the current condition .
What is the true value of old quaters and quaters ? (urban images change by the time) .
Hanoi city also creat the diversity for city structure: The village structure and the expansion of city space affect the prychological and quality of city communities. This is the key factor to creat the character of a city with long history as Hanoi .
The role of Hanoi ­ historical city on making a new face for Hanoi in the future ­ need to be represented by a city with planning and management coherently. Exspecially when Hanoi is being expanded and proceeded planning of Hanoi expansion in the future .
2. Making an image of historical city with the harmony of oldness and modernity
Today, the unfication for urban image is understood by two directions: Harmonious and Contrast .(analysis !)
The looks of an urban tend to be harmonious requires the selective exploitation with criteria. The new characters will be built on the foundation of comprehension and inheritance .
Making a new face with creativity to honor traditional beauty and remind of history in the space of a dynamic modern urban. Each of person, community understands and respect tradition will help keeping traditional characters even at a modern urban. Not all the new character make national character lost .
What do we have to do to conserve and improve ? (analysis !)
3. The unfication for developments
Creating the regulation and rule system to manage the exploitation the heritage in urban areas. Planning for region, relics in the expanded urban areas .
Creating the regulation of new architecture design and bring the traditional characters into urban design .
